Based on the people around me

I now know that there are many ways to improve myself. I figured that I want to become an accountant, have my own clothing line, and own my PR firm. One of my closest friends Rockcliff Douglass really inspired me because he is 23 and he has his own companies and is dropping two clothing lines. I am 22 and I want to be on my grind just like him. Seeing how hard my mom and my dad work only adds to the fire. I want to become someone and once the opportunities arrive, I am taking it and never looking back. I like to surround myself with positive people. Positive mean that these people will encourage me to strive for excellence, but will also keep it real with me and tell me if I am doing anything wrong. I know I might come off as mature, but I am very humble and is willing to learn a great deal from everyone that I network with. I want to establish a relationship rather than just want to network with someone for the resources that the person might have access to.

THE START OF MY SUMMER 2010

So, I have actually learned a lot the last three weeks. I learned a great amount on contracts, the banks borrowing rates, the process of how to create my clothing line, and on trademarks. There are three people who are working on my line including myself. I just submitted the trademark for clothing line to the US Patent and Trademark Office. The next step is produce some clothing so I can sell it. I am a very ambitious individual. I am also trying to work another part time job besides on my clothing line during my summer. I am trying to learn as much as possible. I had the chance to read the book on the New Professional by Ed Holton.

Hi Everyone,

My name is James Nguyen and I will be a Super Senior in the Fall of 2010 at Saint Peter's College in New Jersey. I am currently searching for a full time job for after school. My major is Business Management and my minor is Accounting. I am actually trying to obtain my CPA. I also have an interest in Fashion and is working with two of my friends on a clothing line. Going to college has really helped me develop in ways that I could never have imagined. I used to be this shy person and now I am more outgoing and willing to network with almost anyone. I have one more semester left, but I know that I will miss college very dearly.
